Minutes for a meeting of the Planning Committee of Burgh le Marsh Town Council
Tuesday 2nd February 2021.
Present: Chairman: Cllr N Cooper, Deputy Chairman Cllr J Moss, Cllr P Cooper, Cllr S Blackburn, Cllr R Gandecha, Cllr M Greenhalgh, Cllr P Phillips.

241.21 To receive apologies
242.21 To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.
Cllr N Cooper declared an interest in item 6 being the planning agent. Cllr J Moss will take chair of the meeting for this item.
Cllr P Cooper also declared an interest and will not comment.
243.21 To note general correspondence.
Correspondence received in relation to overhanging trees along the footpath behind the Bowls Club. Landownership is to be clarified. The Clerk to report and make enquiries with LCC Highways.
244.21 Application: S/023/00010/21. Applicant: Mr. B and Mrs. K Bloodworth. Proposal – Planning permission – extension and alterations to the existing bungalow to provide a ground floor kitchen and lounge with first-floor bedroom and ensuite over and to include raising of the roof height.
Conversion of, alterations include raising of the roof height to the existing garage to provide an annexe. Location – 104 Station Road, Burgh le Marsh, Skegness, PE24 5EP.
Council noted the plans and comments received from Neighbours. After discussion and vote, it was unanimously resolved not to support the application due to the loss of amenity of the large window on the rear elevation will cause.
245.21 Application: S/023/00034/21. Applicant -Layfords Contract Packers. Proposal – Planning permission – extension to the existing warehouse to provide a storeroom. Location -Layfords Contract Packers, Ingoldmells Road, Burgh le Marsh, PE24 5HJ.
Council noted the plans and comments. After discussion, it was unanimously resolved to support this application.
246.21 Application: S/023/01653/20 Applicant -Mr S Rutter. Proposal: Planning permission – change of use, conversion and extension to existing agricultural buildings to be used under class B8 (storage or distribution) of the Town Country (use classes) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2020 and provision of associated car parking service the area, and alterations to vehicular access. Location -Field Farm, Station Road, Burgh le Marsh, Skegness, PE24 5ES.
Amendment: Increase in site access road width, parking for up to 10 vehicles as shown. Parking / service area shown on northern most side of the building. Outdoor storage area on southern most side of the building removed.
Having declared an interest Cllr N Cooper and Cllr P Cooper left the meeting discussion. Cllr J Moss took Chair of the meeting.
Council noted the amendment to the application having looked at the application previously and supporting
After discussion, it was resolved to again support this application.
There being no further business the meeting closed at 7.40 pm.
